How We Make Money
SmartBankPick is a free resource. We earn money through affiliate commissions when you open an account through our links. This means:
- When you click a link to Wise, Revolut, N26, or another financial product on our site and sign up, we may receive a commission from that company.
- This costs you nothing extra. You pay the same fees whether you sign up through our link or directly.
- In many cases, our referral links give you a better deal than signing up directly (welcome bonuses, free transfers, etc.).
How This Affects Our Recommendations
It doesn't. Our editorial process is separate from our business relationships. Here's our commitment:
- We only recommend products we genuinely use or would use. If a product pays high commissions but is bad for freelancers, we won't recommend it.
- Our rankings are based on real testing. We evaluate fees, features, user experience, and reliability — not commission rates.
- We clearly label affiliate links. Every button or link that earns us a commission is marked.
- We include products that don't pay us. If a great bank doesn't have an affiliate program, we still include it in our comparisons.
